The Vardon Invitational is a 4-player team championship. Format is 4-for-3 best ball with a shotgun start. Scoring is gross only. Each club drops its highest individual score.Pairings are set by handicap. Players from each club are grouped as 1 with 4 and 2 with 3. Starting holes are assigned by Glen Eagle staff.Play follows USGA rules plus Glen Eagle local rules. Each player keeps their own score and one other player’s score in the group. If Golf Genius is used, caddies or designated scorers can enter scores for the group. At the end of the round, signed scorecards (scorer and player) are turned in at the scoring area.A club check is done before tee-off. Maximum of 14 clubs.2026 Vardon Invitational Rules (Glen Eagle)

The Vardon Invitational is a collection of the best golfers from Men’s leagues across the state. They will all be competing for the honor of being crowned Utah’s best Men’s League as well as an individual title.

The official date of the Utah Vardon Invitational is Saturday October 24th, 2026.

The tournament will be hosted at Glen Eagle Golf Course in Syracuse, Utah.

Golfers who are registered with the associated golf league. Players must also be registered with the USGA.

Players and spectators may find lodging at a location of their choice.

Each team will be made up of 4 players all representing the same course/league.

You can still register your team but will need to have a full team of 4 by the tournament start date. If you need help filling the team, reach out to us and we will do what we can to help.

The cost for the 2026 Utah Vardon Invitational is $750 to register a team of 4 players.

The $600 registration fee covers the green fees for 4 players at Glen Eagle. Teams will also receive official team uniform Vardon polos and Vardon hats.
